In Copilot CLI, the Copilot app and VS Code, an LLM now evaluates each request to run a command, access a path or open a URL; clearly safe requests proceed automatically and the rest still need your approval. Enterprise admins can block Allow All while keeping Assisted, or disable Assisted.
- Copilot agentic autofix for code scanning alerts is GA (2026-10-15). Assign a code scanning alert to Copilot and it explores the codebase, proposes a fix, reruns CodeQL to confirm the alert closes, then opens a draft PR. Up to 25 alerts can be fixed in one PR.
